I’m going to tell you about my training and credentials, but here’s what I really want you to know.
I am fascinated with how the body works and the countless ways to promote wellbeing. I’m usually pretty mild-mannered, but when it comes to bodywork and wellness I get positively exuberant!
My adventure with the healing arts started over 15 years ago with a 200 hour yoga teacher training at Yoga on Main in Philadelphia. As I dove into the practices of yoga and ayurveda, I experienced how the body is connected to the mental/emotional state. Everything changed.
I moved to New Mexico and found some favorite massage therapists. Their treatments were so unique and personal, yet had a similar soulful quality. It was no coincidence; they all trained at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics. I signed up, of course.
Thanks to my prior studies, I felt like my time at NMSNT was refining and expanding my knowledge. My primary training is in Natural Therapeutics, Therapeutic Massage, Polarity Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Herbal Medicine, Reflexology, Craniosacral Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Eating for Health & Wellness, and Flower Remedies.
Currently, I am licensed in Hawaii, MAT #13543 and New Mexico, LMT #6727. I also hold a board certification from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, NCBTMB.
